William J. Mills
, 62, of 234 N. St. Marys Street, St. Marys, died at the home of his son in Chambersburg on Tuesday, June 4, 2013 surrounded by his family following a very courageous battle with cancer.
He was born June 30, 1950 in St. Marys, a son of the late Richard and Grace Hammer Mills.
On January 11, 1974 in St. Marys, he married Penny Bauer Mills, who survives.
Bill was a lifelong resident of the area and graduated from St. Marys Area High School. He was a graduate of Lock Haven University and retired as Vice-President of CNB Bank after many years of service. Bill was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. His granddaughters were the love and light of his life, and he greatly enjoyed spending time with them. He also enjoyed goli
