William L. Green

William L. Green, 82 , of Lutheran Home, Kane, PA formerly of: Kersey, PA died at Kane Lutheran Home, Kane, PA on Thursday (March 26, 2015) afternoon following a lengthy illness.

He was born Dec 28, 1932 in Kersey, PA a son of the late Dale and Julia Frances Distler Green.

On May 19, 1962 in Nazarene Church, Ridgway he married Anna Deemer Green.

He was a member of Nazarene Church in Ridgway. He graduated from the former  Kersey High School, Retired from Ridgway Color & Chemical after over 38 years of employment. Bill raised 14 foster children. He was a active committee member of Troop 94 Boy Scouts of America in Kersey and a member of the Fox Township Fireman's Auxiliary. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening & his dog "Bear".

There will be No Visitation . Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at the Church of the Nazarene, 23 Metoxet Street, Ridgway, PA on Thursday  (April 2, 2015 ) at 11:00 AM with Rev. Joe Miller, Pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in the Parklawn Memorial Gardens, Ridgway, PA
