Violet A. Keller

Violet A. Keller, 75, of Ridgway, died on Sunday, July 19, 2026, at Shadyside Hospital following a brief illness.

She was born on July 27, 1950, in West Virginia, a daughter of the late Della M. Perkins Adkinson.

On June 15, 1967, she married the love of her life, Anthony G. Keller. Together they shared more than 55 years of marriage until his passing in 2023.

Violet found life's greatest joys in its simplest moments. Whether she was sitting on her porch watching a beautiful sunset, spending time at camp, or enjoying a quiet game of solitaire, she appreciated every day. Above all else, Violet was a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a proud grandmother who treasured her family beyond measure. Her unwavering love, gentle presence, and the pride she took in those she loved will be remembered always by everyone fortunate enough to know her.

She is survived by a daughter, Serena Schatz (Fran Patterson) of Ridgway, a son, Butch (Trisha) Keller of Ridgway, 5 grandchildren; Ryan Keller, Sierra Corbett, Frankie Rae Gardner, Vanessa Keller, and Bryce Schatz, 2 step-grandchildren; Rachelle and Michael Vasbinder, and multiple great grandchildren. She is also survived by 5 siblings; Wonda Parks of Ridgway, Judy (Robert) Wingate of Johnsonburg, Dorothy (Bob) Petrini of Arizona, Sybil Warren of Arizona, and Dale Adkinson of Florida, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and mother, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Toni Ann Keller, and 4 siblings; Raymond, Arnold, John, and Juanita.

A Memorial Service for Violet A. Keller will be held on Friday, July 24, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Krise Funeral Home, 130 Center Street, Ridgway, PA 15853.

Burial will follow at Park Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Family and friends will be received on Friday at Krise Funeral Home from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
