Shane "Rubber" Williamson

Oct 18, 1974 — Jul 4, 2026

Shane "Rubber" D. Williamson, 51, of Ridgway, died unexpectedly on Saturday, July 4, 2026, at his residence.

He was born on October 18, 1974, in Ridgway, the son of Daniel F. Williamson and the late Kathleen A. McCartney Williamson.

On October 30, 2010, at St. Leos Church, he married Cheri Leslie, who survives.

A proud graduate of Ridgway High School, he was a gifted athlete who excelled on the baseball diamond, football field, and basketball court. His love for baseball never faded, and he found great joy in coaching, sharing not only his knowledge of the game but also the values of teamwork, sportsmanship, and perseverance. A devoted sports fan, Rubber faithfully cheered on the New York Yankees and the Buffalo Bills.

Above all else, Rubber's greatest joy in life was his daughter and wife. Jaylin was the light of his life, and nothing brought a bigger smile to his face than spending time with her. Whether making memories together or simply enjoying life's everyday moments, they were his greatest source of pride and happiness. When he wasn't with family, Rubber could often be found on the golf course or enjoying the company of his many friends, sharing laughs and creating memories that will be cherished by all who knew him.

In addition to his wife and father, he is survived by his daughter, Jaylin Williamson, 2 sisters, Shelley (Christopher) Kaveney of St. Marys and Angela Williamson of Tennessee, a brother, Nathan (Melissa) Williamson of Virginia, and numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Mary Lou Leslie of Ridgway, and his father-in-law, Michael Leslie.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jason Williamson, and 2 nephews, Austin Miller and Kalvin Giordano.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at Krise Funeral Home, 130 Center Street, Ridgway, PA 15853 from 5:00 PM till 7:00 PM.
