Sandra J. Bush

Sandra Jean Bush, 85 of 295 Ridgmont Drive, Ridgway passed away on Thursday, August 13, 2026 at Pinecrest Manor.

She was born on November 13, 1940 in Ridgway, the daughter of the late Kenneth and Mary (Gerg) Foringer.

On January 31, 1959, she married the late Richard Bush, Sr., who preceded her in death on February 25, 2004.

She is survived by one son; Richard E. (Kim) Bush, Jr., one daughter; Tammy Jean (Dick) Bodenhorn, both of Ridgway, and by her Fiancé; Larry "Zeke" Shipe of Ridgway, and by four grandchildren; Christopher (Alysia) Meyer, Daniel (Dakota) Johnson, Brianna (Elliot) Pontious and Courtney (Garren) Kunes and by seven great grandchildren, with another on the way. 

She is also survived by one brother; Ron Foringer of St. Marys, and by one sister; Mary Lou Robinson of Geneva, OH, as well as by numerous nieces and nephews.

Sandy was a graduate of Ridgway High School, class of 1958.  She loved shopping for bargains, crossword puzzles, crafts, and fishing.  She especially enjoyed dining out in the local restaurants around the area with her fiancé, where she spent a lot of time talking with many friends and family. She and Larry were well known as "The Lovebirds" by many. She had various jobs through the years, including Johnson's Poultry Farm and Rich's Country Farm Market.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter; June Marie Johnson in 2015, a son-in-law; Eric Johnson in 2024, and a by a sister; Patricia Johnson on July 11, 2026.

Funeral Services for Sandra Jean Bush will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.

Burial will be in Oakmont Cemetery.
