RoseMarie "Tootsie" Gregory, 93, passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2026, with her family by her side following a brief illness.
She was born on October 15, 1932 in St. Marys, a daughter of the late Urban and Alvina Hoffman Gregory.
Tootsie was a graduate of Central High School, class of 1950 and was a faithful member of St. Marys Church. She found joy in life's simple pleasures and the quiet routines that brought people together. She enjoyed spending time working on word puzzles, appreciating the challenge and finding just the right answer. She was an avid bowler who treasured the fun, laughter, and friendships shared through the years. Her faith was also an important part of her life, and she faithfully shared her talents by playing the handbells at church, creating beautiful music that became a reflection of her gentle spirit and devotion. Whether through fellowship, music, or time spent with those she loved, she leaves behind memories of warmth, kindness, and a life well lived.
She is survived by three siblings; Gilbert "Gibby" Gregory, William Gregory and Irene Gregory, all of St. Marys, as well as by numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Tootsie was preceded in death by six siblings; including her brother, Kenneth Gregory, who passed away just the day before her, and by Richard Gregory, Alice (Charles) Dollinger, Patricia (Ronald) Rollick, Lillian (Ferdie) Haller, and Monica (Paul) Werner
