Ronald G. Breniman, 59, opf St. Marys, passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at Penn Highlands DuBois with his beloved family by his side following a lengthy illness.
He was born on November 5, 1966 in Clarion, PA, a son of Samuel Breniman, who survives of Emporium, and the late Kathryn Renwick Breniman. The family moved to the Emporium area in 1973, where Ron attended school and graduated from Cameron County High School. After high school, Ron proudly enlisted in the National Guard, where he served until receiving a medical discharge. He was very proud of his service and remained a steadfast supporter of the military throughout his life. Ron later worked at a few locations but loved his job at Reliable Vending.
Ron was a simple man who found his greatest joys in the outdoors, especially spending time hunting with his son and sharing the beauty of nature together. Together they enjoyed every outdoor adventure, especially hunting, fishing, canoeing, and camping with family and friends. Ron passed his love of nature down to his son, Zak, where they spent and enjoyed many years canoeing down the Clarion.Ron had a gift for storytelling, captivating family and friends with tales that brought laughter, wisdom, and memories to life. He also enjoyed good food, took pride in cooking for those he loved, and always appreciated a good meal shared around the table. Music filled his heart and was a constant source of comfort and happiness throughout his life. Above all else, Ron cherished his family, and nothing brought him more pride and joy than being a grandfather. His grandson was the light of his life, and the love they shared will remain a treasured memory for all who knew him.
In addition to his father, he is survived by one son; Zak Breniman and his wife Janice of Kersey, and by his grandchildren, Madyson, Lane, Isaac, Maleena, and Kai, all of St. Marys. He is also survived by one brother; Ken (Tim) Breniman of Oakland, CA, and by his grandmother; Jo Breniman, and by numerous extended family members.In addition to his mother whom he adored, Ron was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, his maternal grandparents, and by numerous aunts and uncles.
A Celebration of Life for Ronald G. Breniman is being held privately by his family.
