Rita M. Hanes , 89, of 297 Wilson Road and recently of Elk Haven Nursing Home, died Thursday, August 11, 2011 following a short illness.
She was born December 8, 1921 in St. Marys, a daughter of the late Jackson and Theresa Glatt Tucker.
On August 12, 1950 in St. Marys Church, she late Paul J. Hanes, who preceded her in death on September 30, 1999.
Mrs. Hanes was a member of St. Marys Church. She worked as a nurses aid at Elk Haven Nursing Home for many years. Sheenjoyed cooking, canning, and i
