Richard D. Beavers

Richard D. Beavers, 80, of Lake City, passed away on Sunday, September 28,2025, at the Dubois Nursing home.

He was born July 10, 1945, in Pasadena, CA, the son of the late Bill Beavers and Marcie Brown.

A proud veteran, Richard enlisted in the United States Marines on September 28, 1964, serving honorably with the Marine Corps Force Reconnaissance units during the Vietnam War.

Richard was a skilled bridge painter and industrial construction safety manager throughout his career. He was a kind and generous person, and was very proud of his children and grandchildren. Outside of work and family, he had a passion for cooking, electronics and his greenhouse, nurturing the plants and trees that brought him joy.

He is survived by 2 sons: Noel Beavers of Louisiana and Nate Beavers of Michigan, 3 grandchildren; James, Nora, and Silas, and a great granddaughter, Penelope, and a sister, Joyce Anderson.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Stephanie Beavers, a grandson, Skyler Beavers, and a sister, Billie Marie Miller.

Funeral Services for Richard D. Beavers will be held on Friday, October 3, 2025, at 11:00 AM, at Krise Funeral Home, 130 Center Street, Ridgway, PA, 15853, with Ron Burkett officiating.

Burial will follow at Lake City Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Friday at Krise Funeral Home from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
