Rayetta M. Lindberg

September 19, 1954 — March 30, 2026

Rayetta Marie Lindberg was born September 19, 1954 in Ridgway, Pennsylvania to her parents Loretta and Raymond Blauser, and raised by her loving grandparents Daniel and Filomena Arvey.

Rayetta, a devoted wife, mother, and quiet cornerstone of her community, passed away surrounded by love Monday, March 30, 2026. She was a woman whose life was defined by care for others, quiet leadership, and an open heart.

Rayetta enjoyed the outdoors. Many of her cherished memories were made around campfires and on walks or bike rides along her favorite trails with family.

She was a leader and lifelong supporter of the Girl Scouts. Rayetta devoted decades as a troop leader. She believed deeply in fostering confidence, kindness, and resilience in young people. She owned and operated her own childcare business, she worked many years in service at the Royal Inn. Over the years she had several roles at Ridgway's elementary school eventually retiring from work in the cafeteria.

Above all, she was a loving wife of 52 years and a devoted mother of four, whose family was the center of her world. Her kindness, strength, and generosity will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.She leaves behind a legacy of compassion, service, and unconditional love that will continue to inspire for generations to come.

She is survived by her husband, Dennis G. Lindberg, a son, Jay Lindberg and his wife Nikki of Cranberry Twp., 2 daughters, Denna Shilk and her husband Chris of Uniontown and Tracey Dom of Altoona,  5 grandchildren: Ethan, Carson, Lincoln, Olivia, and Carlin, and a sister, Dawna Roberts of Denver.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Carl D. Lindberg, and a brother, David Blauser.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Rayetta M. Lindberg will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at 10:30 AM at St. Leo Magnus Church, 111 Depot Street, Ridgway, PA 15853, with Fr. Christopher Beran.

Burial will follow at St. Leo's Cemetery.

Family and friends will be received on Tuesday at St. Leo's gathering space from 9:30 AM until the time of service.
