Marie T. Mchone

Marie T. McHone , 77, a resident of Fox Manor and formerly of Main Street, Kersey, died on Monday, December 10, 2018 at Fox Manor surrounded by her family following a lengthy illness.

She was born on October 11, 1941, in Wilmington, DE, a daughter of the late Francis and Mary Taylor Calhoun.

She was married to Joseph Rubino who preceded her in death on January 30, 2013.

Marie was a member of St. Boniface Church.  She enjoyed her cat, Precious, as well as cooking and baking.  She was a loving and dedicated mother and grandmother who especially loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by a son, Gary Smith and his wife Julie of Brockport, PA; a daughter, Janet Bradley and her husband Brad of Alaska; by four grandchildren; Shelby (Tyler) Wilson, Derek (Karen) Smith, Chad Brubaker, and John (Nina) Kirk.  She was greatly anticipating the birth of her first great-grandchild in the spring.  She is also survived by a brother, William Smentkowski and his wife Pat of Dover, DE.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, John Smentkowski, and by a sister, Nancy Kirk.

A Memorial Service for Marie T. McHone will be held on Friday, December 14, 2018, at 11:00 AM at Lynch-Green Funeral Home with Fr. Ross Miceli, officiating.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until the time of the service.

Interment will be in St. Boniface Cemetery.
