Lynn Rimer

Lynn I. Rimer, 86, of St. Marys, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 18, 2026 at Penn Highlands Elk.

She was born on May 31, 1939 in Johnsonburg, PA, a daughter of the late Robert and Virginia Russey Beimel.

On July 4, 1957, at Holy Rosary Church, she married the late Paul Rimer, who preceded her in death on December 19, 2003. Together they shared more than 46 years of marriage.

Lynn was member of St. Marys Church and a graduate of Johnsonburg High School. She retired from Sylvania after many years of service. An avid baker, Lynn loved making goodies for her family to enjoy. She also enjoyed playing cards and going to lunch with her friends. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by four children; Robert (Renee) Rimer of AL, Robin (Mike Nashadka) Rimer of Weedville, Christopher (Kelly Meyer) Rimer of St. Marys, and Ron (Dorothy) Rimer of St. Marys, and by two grandchildren; Shawn Rimer and Rachel (William) Tindell and by two great-grandchildren; Rilynn and Blanton.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Lynn was preceded in death by a son in infancy; John, her grandson; Gibby Buerk, and by a sister; Judy DeLong.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Lynn I. Rimer will be celebrated at 12:00 PM on Friday, January 23, 2026 at the St. Marys Church, 315 Church Street, St. Marys, PA 15857 with Fr. Thomas Curry, OSB, as Celebrant.

Burial will be in the St. Marys Catholic Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Lynch-Green Funeral Home on Friday, January 23, 2026 from 10:30 until 11:30 AM.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Crystal Fire Department.
