Lucy M. Johnson

Lucy M. Johnson, 85, a resident of Pinecrest Manor, and formerly of Ridgway, passed away on Wednesday, June 11, 2025.

She was born on September 18, 1939, in Ridgway, a daughter of the late Patsy and Amelia Sorge Ritucci.

Lucy was a member of St. Leos Church and a graduate of St. Leos High School, class of 1957. Lucy could often be found in the kitchen cooking or baking something good. In her free time she enjoyed playing cards with her friends and spending time at Bear Creek Camp, and she always looked forward to Saturday morning coffee clutch. More than anything Lucy cherished the time she spent with her family.

Lucy is survived by her 4 children; Ken Johnson and his companion Patty of Ridgway, Jeff Johnson and his wife Lori of Brockport, Lisa Matheson and her husband Dave of Ridgway, and Greg Johnson and his wife Janet of Ridgway, by 5 grandchildren; Justin (Deanna), Ashley (Lou), Eric, Caitlin, and Evan, and by 2 great grandchildren; Lucia and Amelia. She is also survived by 4 sisters; Antoinette Kidwell of Ridgway, Barbara Ritucci of Arizona, Rose Marie (Dale) Himes of Ridgway, and Patricia (Edward) Porcaro of Ridgway.

A Mass of Christion Burial for Lucy M. Johnson will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at 2:00 PM at St. Leos Catholic Church, 111 Depot Street, Ridgway, PA, 15853, with Fr. Justin Pino officiating.

Burial will take place in St. Leos Cemetery.

Family and Friends will be received on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at the St. Leos Church gathering space from 12:30 PM until the time of the mass.
