Lucy Garrity

Lucy V. Garrity , 88, of Brooklyn, NY, and formerly of Ridgway, PA, died on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at her home.
She was born on June 22, 1928, in Ridgway, a daughter of the late Leo and Mary Micholich Lunder.
She married Lester Garrity, who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Garrity was a devout Catholic who enjoyed going to church. She lived in West Orange, New Jersey for a number of years and was a member of St. Lourdes Catholic Church. She retired from Solid State Electronics after many years of service. She was a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed her cats and sweets.
She is survived by a daughter, Kathryn Garrity-Bernabeo of Brooklyn, NY, a granddaughter, Christina Bernabeo of Brooklyn, NY and by a nephew, Bernie Wright of Ridgway.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Eugene Garrity and by several siblings.
Private Funeral and Committal Services for Lucy V. Garrity were held at Parklawn Memorial Gardens.
