Linda A. Gahr

Linda A. Gahr, 62, of St. Marys, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 8, 2026 at UPMC Williamsport.

She was born on December 6, 1963 in St. Marys a daughter of the late Donald and Etha Leithner Gahr.

Linda truly enjoyed the simple pleasures of life-long phone conversations, chatting with friends and family, keeping everyone up to date on local happenings, and relaxing while watching favorite TV game shows. Linda also enjoyed leafing through her favorite magazines and reading the newspaper. Her cheerful spirit and caring heart will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.

She is survived by one sister; Diane (Jeff) Fogleboch of Virginia, a brother-in-law; Mark O'Connor of St. Marys, two nieces and one nephew who will deeply miss her kindness and lively spirit.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by three sisters; Kathleen O'Connor, Jean Gahr, and Marie Gahr.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Linda A. Gahr will be celebrated on Thursday, March 26, 2026 at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church, 337 Center Street, St. Marys, PA 15857 with Fr. Thomas Curry, Pastor, as celebrant.

Family and friends will be received at the Sacred Heart Church on Thursday, March 26, 2026 from 9:30 AM until the time of the Mass.

Burial will follow in the St. Marys Catholic Cemetery.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Sacred Heart Church or to a favorite charity.
