Linda Donahue

Linda J. Donahue, 75, of Ridgway, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at her residence.

She was born on July 25, 1950, in Kane, a daughter of the late Woodrow and Margaret Huber Shaffer.

On October 3, 1970, she married James Donahue, who survives.

Linda devoted her life to her family and her faith, being a proud member of Hallton Church of Christ where she found great joy and fellowship. Linda was a graduate of Johnsonburg High School, class of 1968, and later attended Tri County Beauty School, where she pursued her passion for beauty and self-care. She was the owner and operator of Linda's Beauty Salon for many years.

Linda was a social butterfly, whose warm spirit embraced everyone she encountered. She derived great joy from spending her time at the local senior center. She found great happiness tending to her beautiful flowers and watching the birds.

In addition to her husband of nearly 55 years, she is survived by 3 daughters: Darlene Pasi and her husband David of Chambersburg, Darcy DelRey and her husband Oscar of Pompano Beach, Fl, and Danielle Donahue and her husband Tony Michael of Reedsville, WV, and 2 grandchildren, Jordan and Jack Pasi. She is also survived by 7 siblings: Karla (Andy) Bell of Franklin, Martha Beach of Franklin, Sharon (William) Paulson of Treasure Lake, Laurie (Rich) Storrar of Wilcox, Woodrow (Debra) Shaffer of Ridgway, Kenneth (Colleen) Shaffer of St. Marys, and Cindy (Joe) Salerno of Kane, and several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service for Linda J. Donahue will be held on Monday, August 18, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the Bible Training Center, 657 Evergreen Drive, Ridgway, PA, 15853, with Pastor Ron Burkett officiating.

Burial will follow at Parklawn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be held on Monday at the Bible Training Center from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
