Laura M. Marton

Laura M. Marton, 56, of St. Marys, passed away at her home on Saturday, May 9, 2026 following a battle with cancer.

She was born on November 4, 1969 in St. Marys, PA, a daughter of James and Joan Krug Snelick, who survive of St. Marys.

Laura was a graduate of St. Marys Area High School and then earned her degree in Occupational Therapy from Elizabethtown College. When she wasn't spending time with her pets, she enjoyed painting and spending time with her family. 

In addition to her parents, she is survived by two daughters; Shelbie (Adam) Schlimm of St. Marys, and Nicki (Luke) Centofanti of Pittsburgh; and by brother; Ed (Stacy) Snelick of Johnsonburg.

In addition to her parents, Laura was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents.

A Memorial Service is being held privately with the family.

Burial will follow in the St. Marys Catholic Cemetery.
