L. Harrison "Harry" Schneider , 84, of 1221 E. Eschbach Road, St. Marys, died on Thursday evening, October 11, 2012 at Dubois Nursing Home following a lengthy illness.
He was born January 17, 1928 in St. Marys, a son of the late Louis J. and Christina M. Mertz Schneider.
On April 23, 1949 in St. Marys Church, he married Grace Entres Schneider, who survives.
Mr. Schneider was a member of Queen of the World Church. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1946-1947. He retired from GKN after many years of service. He had been a member of the American Legion, the St. Marys Servicemen's Burial Detail and was a life member of the Crystal Fire Department. He enjoyed camping, hunting and i
