Joyce A. Leviski, 89, formerly of Bucktail Road, passed away on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at Elk Haven Nursing Home surrounded by her family.
She was born on September 3, 1935 in St. Marys, a daughter of the late Edward and Mary Caskey Seelye.
On August 28, 1954, in Sacred Heart Church, she married Eugene Leviski, who survives. Together they have been blessed with more than 70 years of love, laughter, and marriage.
Joyce was a wonderful housewife, something she took great pride in. She loved cooking and was a wonderful knitter, making many beautiful items over the years. Joyce could often be found sitting on the back porch watching the birds. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, but most of all, with her husband, Eug. Joyce will always be remembered for thinking of others before herself.
In addition to her husband, Eugene, of 70 years, she is survived by 4 children; Sharon (Mark) Pishak of State College, Rick (Debbie) Leviski of St. Marys, Shawn (Mary Jo) Leviski of Riverview, FL, and Jody (Dave) Meyer of St. Marys, her 4 beloved grandchildren; Andy Leviski, Erica Hale, Bradley Leviski, and Alex Fields, and by 8 great grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister; Phyllis Bricen of St. Marys.
In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by a sister; Jean Pontzer; and two brothers; Howard Gradl and Edward Seelye.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Joyce A. Leviski will be celebrated on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at 10:30 AM at Queen of the World Church, 134 Queens Rd. Saint Marys, PA 15857 with Father Jeffery Noble as celebrant.
Burial will follow in the Saint Marys Catholic Cemetery.
Family and Friends will be received at the Queen of the World Church from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Elk Haven Nursing Home or the Alzheimers Association.
