Jordan F. "Fuzzy" Ginther, 90, of Toby, died on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at Pinecrest Manor following a brief illness.
He was born on October 16, 1935, in St. Marys, the son of the late Anthony and Julia Wolf Ginther.
On July 19, 1958, he married the late Mildred Anders, who preceded him in death in 2000.
Fuzzy was a lifelong resident of the area and a member of St. Boniface Church. After more than 40 years of dedicated service, Fuzzy retired from Keystone Carbon, leaving behind a legacy of hard work and commitment that inspired his colleagues. He was a man of many talents and passions. A gifted musician, he had the extraordinary ability to play any instrument he touched. His artistic spirit also found expression in gardening and woodworking, where he created beautiful pieces that reflected his creativity and dedication. An avid outdoorsman, Fuzzy cherished fishing trips and enjoyed spending time immersed in nature's beauty.
He is survived by 6 daughters: Barbara (Jack) Hepler of Ridgway, Bernice (Anthony) Bobenreith of Toby, Joyce Young of Kersey, Bonnie (James) Stover of Kersey, Connie Ginther of Toby, and Karen (Daniel) McMillen of St. Marys, 3 sons: Floyd Ginther of Kersey, Carl (Susan) Ginther of Ridgway, and Glenn Ginther of Dagus Mines, 15 grandchildren, and many great grandchildren. He is also survived by a brother, Dr. Oliver (Jane) Ginther of Wisconsin, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by a son, Randolf Ginther, a grandson, Melvin Shaw Jr., 3 sisters: Anita Krellner, Vera Flynn, and Mary Ginther, and 4 brothers: Alvin, Leander, Earl, and Gervase Ginther.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at 11:00 AM at St. Boniface Church, 355 Main Street, Kersey, PA, 15846, with Fr. Christopher A. Beran officiating.
Burial will follow at St. Boniface Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday at Krise Funeral Home, 339 Main Street, Kersey, PA, 15846, from 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM.
