Jennifer L. Thompson, 42, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 12, 2026, at her home.

She was born on April 23, 1984, in Ridgway, PA, a daughter of Roger Thompson and Joan Snyder Thompson, who preceded her in death in September of 2013.

Jen was a vibrant and spirited woman whose positive attitude and warm smile brightened the lives of everyone around her. A graduate of the Pittsburgh Technical Institute, she developed a strong knowledge of computers and technology, a skill that served her well throughout her life. A devoted animal lover, Jen had a special place in her heart for cats and cherished the companionship they brought to her life. She enjoyed the thrill of the open road, whether behind the wheel of her beloved BMW or riding her motorcycle, embracing every adventure with confidence and enthusiasm. A true tomboy at heart, Jen approached life with independence, determination, and an infectious sense of optimism. Her joyful outlook and ability to find happiness in everyday moments will be remembered and treasured by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her father, Jen is survived by three brothers; Mike (Crystal) Thompson of Kersey, Eric Thompson of Kersey, and Jason Thompson of St. Marys, and by one niece and one nephew.

In addition to her mother, Jen was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents, and by one brother in infancy; Scot David Thompson.

A Memorial Service for Jennifer L. Thompson is being held privately with the family.
