Janet M. Glatt

Janet M. Glatt, 66, passed away at Highland View Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center on June 7, 2026, in Brockway, PA following a brief illness.

She was born on April 9, 1960, in Saint Marys, PA, a daughter of the late George E. Glatt and Marlene "Molly" Dippold Glatt who survives.

Janet was a graduate of St. Marys Area High School, class of 1978. She was a compassionate and selfless woman whose kindness touched the lives of all who knew her. Janet had a special love for animals and devoted much of her life to rescuing pets and taking in stray animals, always ensuring they found a safe and loving home. Her pets brought her tremendous joy and were cherished members of her family. Known for her generous heart and friendly nature, Janet never met a stranger and could strike up a conversation with anyone. She genuinely loved people and was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. Putting others before herself came naturally to her, and Janet made it her mission to ensure everyone around her was cared for and supported. Her warmth, generosity, and unwavering compassion will be remembered by all whose lives she touched.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by one son; Jusson Glatt (Jenna Stamm) of St. Marys, she is also survived by three brothers; Daniel Glatt of St. Marys, David Glatt of Kersey, and Joseph (Fe) Glatt of Kersey, three nieces, and one nephew.

In addition to her father, Janet was preceded in death by her step-father; Richard Rankin.

 A Funeral Service for Janet M. Glatt will be held on Friday, June 12, 2026, at 4:00 PM at the Lynch-Green Funeral Home with Pastor Brian Sheldon officiating. 

Family and Friends will be received at the Lynch-Green Funeral Home on Friday, June 12, 2026, from 3:00PM until the time of service.
