James "Jim" Wonderly

James "Jim" Wonderly. 79, of Weedville, died on Monday, April 24, 2023, at his residence.

He was born on August 18, 1943, in Kersey, a son of the late Irvin and Madeline Minnick Wonderly.

On May 26, 1983, he married Katherine Olson, who survives.

In addition to his loving wife of nearly 40 years, he is survived by a daughter, Lenora Shoemaker of Sykesville, 3 sons: James Wonderly and his wife Sheri of Monroeville, Tim Wolfel and his wife Cathy of Weedville, and Andy Wonderly and his wife Sophie of Maryland, 9 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. He is also survived by 2 sisters, Loretta McClintick and Virginia Carpin.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 5 sisters: Evelyn, Mary Lou, Margaret, Betty, and Nellie, and 3 brothers: Joseph, Irvin, and Robert.

Funeral Services for James "Jim' Wonderly are being held privately and at the convenience of the family.
