Jack W. Dunkle, Jr., 72, of Ridgway, passed away on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at Penn Highlands Elk following a lengthy illness.
He was born on October 15, 1952, in Kane, the son of the late Jack and May Yeagle Dunkle.
Jack was a lifelong resident of the area and loved to spend his time with his friends in Bennetts Valley. A dedicated welder, Jack was known for his strong work ethic and meticulous attention to detail. Jack was an avid NASCAR fan, often found cheering for his favorite drivers on race day.
He is survived by a daughter, Missy Yates and her husband Steve of Ridgway, a son, James Dunkle, 4 grandchildren: Regan Ruff, KC Gardner, Colby Dunkle, and Austin Simon, and 3 great grandchildren, Raeleigh, Ryson, and Reider.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Pearl Dunkle and Kathy Beimel, and 2 brothers, Edward and James Dunkle.
Funeral services are being held privately by the family.
Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.
