Lorraine Hendrickson

Lorraine Hendrickson, 92, of Ridgway, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 25, 2026, at Elk Haven Nursing Home following a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's.

She was born on April 18, 1934, in Kane, a daughter of the late Harry R. and Helga R. Nelson Larson.

On November 12, 1955, she married the late John E. Yaggie, with whom she shared many cherished years until his passing in 1977. She later married John L. Hendrickson on June 2, 2012, who survives.

A proud graduate of Ridgway High School, Class of 1945, Lorraine began her professional journey at Elliot Company, followed by notable tenures at General Electric and Airco Carbon. Her work ethic and commitment to excellence were hallmarks of her career. Beyond her professional achievements, Lorraine was an active volunteer with the Elk County Historical Society, where she shared her passion for history and nurtured a love for her community. 

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a sister, Romayne E. Dill of Florida, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her first husband, John Yaggie, and parents, she was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Harriet Rose and Janice M. Larson.

A Memorial Service for Lorraine Hendrickson will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Krise Funeral Home, 130 Center Street, Ridgway, PA 15853, with Paul Reed officiating.

Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday at Krise Funeral Home from 1:30 PM till the time of service.
