Faythe R. Brown

Faythe R. Brown, 75, a resident of Elk Haven Nursing Home and formerly of Kersey, passed away on Monday, October 6, 2025, at Penn Highlands DuBois, following a lengthy illness.

She was born on November 12, 1949 in Ridgway, a daughter of the late Charles "Ray" and Margaret Geist Copello.

She enjoyed dancing, singing, listening to music, and spending time with her girls. She was a very loving and gentle woman.

She is survived by one daughter; Margaret "Peggy" Schachtner of North Carolina, by one grandchild, and by five siblings; Charles "Chuck" Copello, Larry (Tina) Copello, Jerry Joe (Linda) Copello, Tony Copello and Betsy Copello, as well as by numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Faythe was preceded in death by a daughter, Mercie, a sister; Holly Scanish, and by a brother; Gary Copello.

A Graveside Service is being held privately with the family at Ridge Cemetery in Kersey.
