Donna L. Blair

Donna L. Blair, 77, of St. Marys, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, August 11, 2025, following a brief illness.

She was born on October 3, 1947 in St. Marys, a daughter of the late Walter and Mary Celin Haberberger.

On August 19, 1967, in Sacred Heart Church, she married Raymond Blair, who survives. Together they shared nearly 58 years of love, laughter, and marriage.

Donna was a graduate of Elk County Christian High School, class of 1966. She was a member of the Church of JESUS CHRIST of Latter Day Saints of the Ridgway Branch. She retired from Pure Carbon after more than 20 years of service. She spent a number of years as a volunteer ombudsman for the local nursing homes, serving as a kind and thoughtful friend to many residents. A walk through Donna's home brings a smile to your face, with the colorful frogs, lizards, and vibrant wall art that was collected during her years of her travelling with her husband. Whether it was a wood carving, and delicate hand painted doll, or her thriving house plants, Donna took great pride in her gardening skills, which her family lovingly referred to as "Donna World". She adored her family and loved nothing more than spending time with them.

In addition to her husband of nearly 58 years, Ray Blair, she is survived by three children; Vicki (Jerry) Showers if Weedville, Mark Blair of St. Marys, and Erica (Charlie) Miller of St. Marys; by her five beloved grandchildren; Jacquelyn Showers, Rebecca (Jon) Prechtl. Katelyn Platt, Kyle (Sierra) Showers, and Ryan (Kara) Miller and by her cherished eight great-grandchildren and was expecting the birth of her ninth. She is also survived by two sisters; Janice (Vernon) VanAlstine of St. Marys and Lisa Nesbitt of Weedville as well as by numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Donna L. Blair will be held on on Friday, August 15, 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lynch-Green Funeral Home.

Burial will follow in the St. Marys Catholic Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Lynch-Green Funeral Home on Thursday, August 14, 2025 from 4:00 until 6:00 PM.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Elk County Humane Society.
