Donald W. Wilson, 76, passed away at Penn Highlands DuBois on Saturday, June 20, 2026, following a lengthy illness.

He was born on June 17, 1950, in Washington County, a son of the late John Wilson and Dorothy Smith Crowe.

On July 15, 1990, in Morrisville, NC, he married Joyce Gifford Wilson, who survives.

Don was a graduate of McGuffey High School, Class of 1970. He was a proud United States Navy veteran who carried a deep love and respect for the military throughout his life. A longtime resident of Morrisville, North Carolina, Don was known for his strong sense of patriotism, generous spirit, and unwavering devotion to his family. He found great joy in spending time with loved ones, creating memories that will be cherished for years to come. An avid collector, buyer, and seller of antiques, Don had a keen eye for unique treasures and enjoyed sharing his knowledge and passion with others. Above all, he will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor, quick wit, and gift for storytelling. Whether cracking jokes or recounting one of his many memorable tales, Don had a special ability to make everyone around him laugh and feel welcome.

In addition to his wife Joyce, he is survived by seven siblings; Curtis Crowe, David Wilson, James Wilson, Myra Klavonic, Sarah "Sissy" Crowe, Susan Ealy, Marjorie Wilson, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Don was preceded in death by three brothers; George Crowe, Lee Crowe, and Kenneth Wilson, and by one sister; Janice Wilson.

A Memorial Service for Donald W. Wilson is being held privately and at the convenience of the family.
