Donald E. Kirst
, 87, of 627 Fox Rd., St. Marys, died on Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2013 following a brief illness.
He was born Dec. 4, 1925 in Buffalo, N.Y., a son of the late John and Louise Degan Kirst.
On Sept. 15, 1945 at St. Mary Magdaline Catholic Church in Buffalo, N.Y., he married the late Kathleen Hughes Kirst.
Mr. Kirst was educated in Buffalo-area schools and had worked at Bethlehem Steel, Pillsbury, Dunlap and then retired from Moog, Inc. after many years of service. He enjoyed i
