Debra L. Duffee

Debra L Duffee, 72, of Ridgway, died unexpectedly on Monday, October 19, 2026, at her residence.

She was born on September 22, 1954, in Ridgway, the daughter of the late David L. and Joan Steis Young.

On February 22, 1973, she married Roger Duffee, who survives.

Deb enjoyed spending time with her family, especially the wonderful memories made during trips to the beach. She had a special love for animals, particularly her cats and dogs. She was also an avid football fan who enjoyed watching and attending games, always cheering on her beloved Pittsburgh Steelers and Penn State Nittany Lions.

For many years, Deb worked as a dietary manager in nursing homes, where she dedicated herself to caring for others. Following her retirement, she found great enjoyment in helping care for horses belonging to a close family friend. Whether spending time with family, caring for animals, or cheering on her favorite teams, Deb found happiness in the simple pleasures of life.

In addition to her husband of 53 years, she is survived by a daughter, Deeana (William) Solada, a son, Travis Duffee (Katie Sweka), five grandchildren; Samatha (Tom) Gribb, Shelby Snyder (Walter Johnson), Shayna Snyder, Thomas Snyder Jr., and Ethan Duffee, four great grandchildren; Maddie, Olivia, Grayson, and LeeAnn.

Funeral services for Debra L. Duffee will be held privately by the family.
