Constance L. "Connie" Ginther, 79, of St. Marys, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 8, 2026 at Penn Highlands DuBois.
She was born on March 23, 1947 in St. Marys, a daughter of the late Louis and Gladys Sheley Jeter.
On November 6, 1971, she married the late Frank Ginther, who preceded her in death on May 27, 2022. Together they shared a lifetime of love and happiness.
Connie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and cherished friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. She enjoyed spending time with her twin sister, Bonnie, who shared a special and lifelong bond with her. Connie loved gardening, shopping, and being in the comfort of her home, but most of all, she treasured time spent with her family and grandchildren. Her family was the center of her world, and she found great joy in the love and memories they shared together. Since her passing, Connie has been reunited with the love of her life, Frank, and they are together once again. Connie will always be remembered for the love she gave, the warmth she brought to her family, and the special place she held in the hearts of those around her. Her memory and love will live on in her family and grandchildren for generations to come.
Connie is survived by two children; Frank (Stacy) Ginther of Weedville and Rhonda (George) Heigel of Kersey, and by her ten beloved grandchildren; Larissa, Isabel (Brad), Jade (Brandon), Sierra, Trevor, Ivy, Levi, Aleena, Saige, and Amelia, and five great-grandchildren; Lucas, Aubree, Eli, Waylon, and Greyson. She is also survived by her twin sister; Bonnie Guilyard of St. Marys, her best friend Linda Lecker, four brothers-in-law; Dennis Ginther, Thomas (Cookie) Ginther, Roger Ginther, and James Kaveney, two sisters-in-law; Cathy (Fritz) Trumbull and Aurelia Ginther, and by numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Connie was preceded in death by two brothers; Bob Jeter and Pat Jeter, and by one sister; TrudyAnn Jeter.
Funeral Services for Constance L. Ginther will be held privately with the family.
