Betsy Copello

Betsy I. Copello, 54, formerly of Kersey, passed away on Sunday, January 11, 2026 at the Kane Lutheran Home.

She was born on September 2, 1971 in Ridgway, PA, a daughter of the late Charles and Margaret Geist Copello.

Betsy was a lifelong resident of the area. She loved listening to country music and laughing with her family. She loved how her brothers would shower her with attention and try to brighten her days.

She is survived by four siblings; Charles Copello, Larry (Tina) Copello, Tony Copello, and Jerry Joe (Linda) Copello, as well as by numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Betsy was preceded in death by a brother; Gary Copello, and by two sisters; Holly Scanish and Faythe Brown.

A Graveside Service for Betsy I. Copello will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, January 16, 2026 at Ridge Cemetery in Kersey with Rev. Ron Burkett officiating.

There will be no visitation.
