Bernice A. Chase
, 83, recently of Elk Haven Nursing Home and formerly of Silvercreek Terrace and 310 W. Mill Street, St. Marys, died on Monday June 6, 2011 at Elk Haven Nursing Home following a brief illness.
She was born February 14, 1928 in St. Marys, a daughter of the late Cornelius and Beatrice Lawton Haney.
On August 26, 1965 in Sacred Heart Church, she married Joseph J. Chase, who survives.
Mrs. Chase was a member of Sacred Heart Church. She worked at Stackpole Carbon for more than 23 years and enjoyed reading and spending time with her grandchildren.
