Anna M. Schneider

Anna M. Schneider, 97, formerly of Wendel Road, St. Marys, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 25, 2025 at Elk Haven Nursing Home.

She was born on July 16, 1927 in Byrnedale, PA, a daughter of the late Anthony and Fosca Pisaneschi Carpin.

On July 15, 1949, she married the late Norman Schneider, who preceded her in death on January 24, 2021. Together they were blessed with more than 72 years of marriage.

Anna was a graduate of Weedville High School and a member of Queen of the World Church. With a great talent for cooking and baking, Anna was happiest tending to her family as a wife, mother and grandmother, and she took great pride in those roles. She adored her family and cherished every moment spent with them.

She is survived by three sons; Michael Schneider of St. Marys, John "Jack" (Patricia) Schneider of Wilcox, and David (Toni) Schneider, of St. Marys, by her four beloved grandchildren; Jeff, Adam, Teri, and Eric, by 8 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. She is also survived by one sister-in-law; JoAnn Schneider, as well as by numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters; Althea Maholtz and Ada Decker.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Anna M. Schneider will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Queen of the World Church, 134 Queens Road, St. Marys, PA 15857 with Rev. Jeffery Noble, Pastor, as celebrant.

Burial will follow in the St. Marys Catholic Cemetery.

There will be no public visitation.
