Angela M Morelli

Angela M. Morelli, 90, of Ridgway, died on Monday, August 21, 2023, at Elk Haven Nursing Home following a brief illness.

She was born on October 23, 1932, a daughter of the late Joseph and Dolores Schiano Ambrosia.

On June 20, 1953, she married the late Victor Morelli, who preceded her in death in January 2012.

Angela was a resident of the area for many years and a member of St. Leos Church. She was a graduate of Brockway Area High School class of 1950. She was a member of St. Leos’s women’s choir and a Rosarian at Holy Cross Parish. Angela enjoyed crafting, sewing, and listening to music. She spent many years volunteering for the Red Cross, Elk Co. Regional Hospital and Pinecrest Nursing Home.

She is survived by 1 son, Mark Morelli of Ridgway, a granddaughter, Katy Mazur, and 2 sisters: Rose Marie Baschini of Anderson, IN and Sylvia Amitrone of Brockway, and several nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.

Burial will be at St. Leos Cemetery.

Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Leos Church and the Ridgway Fire Department.
